Capoeira champion and multiple world champion in sports - Capoeira
William Douglas Guimarães Junior is honorary board member of the non-profit association Capoeira Gerais - Sport und Kultur vereint e.V. and multiple world champion in Sport Capoeira. As Mestre Juninho, he is internationally known for his unique and modern Capoeira style.
Born on April 18, 1981 in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, William Douglas Guimarães Junior began to train Capoeira at the age of four and was trained by his father, Mestre Mão Branca (Capoeira Gerais) as a professional Capoeira artist. At the age of 18, as part of a European tour by Capoeira Gerais, he presented himself for the first time on an international level and has since been able to prove himself as one of the youngest Capoeira artists.
