General Elections 2022

Dear WCF Member!

The next general elections for the following vacancies will be organized within the framework of the General Conference of the World Capoeira Federation on September 4, 2022. The General Conference is the supreme body of the WCF and unites the national capoeira federations with full membership status.

 

- Chairman of the management Board (President of WCF) -1 vacancy

- Vice President (1 vacancy)

- General Secretary (1 vacancy)

- Chairman of the Council of Masters (1 vacancy)

- Member of the Manegement Board (5 vacancies)

 

Each individual member of the WCF may nominate himself for the above positions. The members who have a national capoeira federation in their country must submit their candidacies through their national federation. All other countries can send an application directly to: [email protected].

 

Who will vote and elect candidates?

An official representative of each national federation participating in the General Conference will vote in the elections on behalf of his country.

 

Briefly about the dates:

1. The last day for submitting candidate forms is July 22, 2022.

2. After the candidates are approved, they can conduct their election campaign from 1 to 31 August 2022.

3. Elections will be hosted by Zoom on September 4, 2022. Individual members can join and follow the meeting.
